What this map assumes

The map assumes still air or one airflow speed, heat lost to the air and by radiation from both faces, and no heat out through the package sides or the board edges.

Read it before you share the map, so whoever reads it knows what the numbers stand on.

It is an estimate, about 10 to 30 percent on temperature rise, so it never replaces a measurement or a full thermal solve.
