Select with a box

Selects what falls inside a box you drag: left to right takes only what is fully inside, right to left takes anything the box touches.

When you want a whole block of the drawing at once to move, copy or delete it.

Not a drawn rectangle, it leaves nothing on the sheet, and KiCad calls this Rectangle.
