Polygon

Draws a closed shape of straight sides on the layer you are drawing on, one corner per click.

When you want an odd shaped outline or a filled shape, such as a logo outline or a marking.

Not a zone: it is drawn once and does not flow around other copper, which Fill an area does, and KiCad calls this Draw Polygons.
