θJB, junction to board

θJB is the theta, or thermal resistance, from the chip inside a part to the board under it, in kelvin per watt.

Read it to see how easily a part sheds heat into the copper, and press its chip to type the datasheet's value.

It is measured on a standard test board, so a part on thin copper runs warmer than its θJB alone suggests.
