Rule area

Draws an area where you can forbid tracks, vias, pads, copper fills or parts, or where your own design rules apply.

When a region must stay clear, such as under an antenna or around a mounting screw.

Not copper: nothing is made in the area, and KiCad calls this Draw Rule Areas.
