Add a via

Places a via, a plated hole that joins copper on one layer to copper on another.

When a net needs a free via, such as one stitching a ground fill on the top to the ground on the bottom.

Not needed in the middle of routing, where pressing V drops a via and changes layer, and KiCad calls this Place Vias.
